The people at the reception were always lovely and helpful, the atmosphere was nice and relaxed. Shame that the kitchen has to close at 10pm and some of the toilets were not properly ventilated; that aside, it's the best place to stay in: close to everything and full of smiley ppl to help you with all those touristy queries! I liked the place, nice stuff, the hostel is not that far from nice places walking and itś right in front of an U-Bahn station. I would definitely stay there again.

Excellent Hostel, close to city center and S Ban Station. The staff is friendly and helpful, shared bathroom for a lot of people but great nights on the common room. Free safe to keep your docs or money or whatever...

Overall it was a good hostel very close to a metro station. Our only concerns were that a number of things were not available as advertised. We had booked a room with an ensuite bathroom, but arrived and were told that that room had already been given away. Ads in the hostel said they had a hostel booking service to help find hostels elsewhere, but the staff didn't even seem to know about it. This is the place to stay if you want to hang out with other 20 somethings. The staff is helpful and the rooms are clean enough. All in all I had a nice experience here although I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for more of the 'hotel' experience and a great night's sleep...but when you're in Berlin who really wants that anyhow?
