One of the cleanest hostels I've ever stayed at. In a very good location, easy to walk to anywhere in Bern. Staff isn't there 24/7 but it never seemed to be an issue. Rachel, from USA ~ 17th Mar 2013

Very good kitchen and common space. Only that apart from us, there were also other travelers thought that the hostel was closed. The ground floor was a bar which was closed in the daytime, and because of the darkness we thought it hasn't opened yet. Have to go up to second floor for the reception. This hostel was great! The location was perfect - very close to all attractions and in a good area. The common and kitchen areas were very spacious and the labelled maps on the wall were helpful. The sink in the room was convenient and the bathroom and shower were very clean (great water pressure too!). Our room was a little tight for 6 people, but they were very nice so it wasn't really a problem. The discount on Swiss Army knives was also nice :) I would definitely recommend this hostel! Great hostel with awesome staff. Secure, centrally located and close to everything (mind you the hills in Bern are steep, so its a big advantage to be close to the station as well as the other attractions). They also have a cool lounge to hang out as well as a nice kitchen. The only additional things that would be nice are to get more & faster laundry machines (there were people fighting to use the two machines) & serve a cheap breakfast.
