Nice place to stay a little out of the centre (easily walkable into the centre unless you've just climbed Mount Kinabalu!) It is quite a big hostel but was very quiet when I stayed there. I had a dorm to myself for most of the time. Dorms get a bit hot at night with just a ceiling fan. There's a nice air-conditioned lounge at reception with a free internet computer and TV. Staff were nice and helpful. Free breakfast of toast and jam. All in all, good value. Caz, from England ~ 25th Mar 2013

Okey hostel. nice staff, help-full. the room was very hot! there was no air.con ore windows in my dorrm rom. so it was like 30c ore more there, and it smell bad, when no fresh air comes in... There was no pool ore bar there, so that should be removed from the web-site! the breakfust was just bread with one kind of jam. And if you want a locker, you have to pay for it! Spent 3 nights at BGB during Jan 2012. I requested airport pick-up and was met in the arrival hall right on time. On the way to BGB, I realized I'd forgotten to exchange my money at the airport so the driver made a detour for me without any complaint or extra charge. The staff were all friendly and super helpful! The only con is location however, there's a bus stop nearby and a ride into the town center is only RM 0.50!
