More ragged than the average hostel, but very cheap and centrally located.Bathrooms were very clean but the bedding was rather old and tattered.No wi-fi in room and very thin walls so you hear every moment of the infamous, ongoing Edinburgh road construction beginning at 7am even on Saturday. Die Mehrheit der Gäste sind Franzosen und Spanier, da kommt man sich als Deutscher fast ein bisschen verloren vor. Aber es macht den Aufenthalt auch bunt. Die Küche könnte größer sein. Bei so vielen Betten sind 6 Kochplatten definitv zu wenig. Zum Frühstück gibts sogar frisches Obst!!!Und die Location könnte nicht besser sein. Christine, from Germany ~ 5th Sep 2012

All around fantastic Hostel. Wonderful people and atmosphere.Highly recommend for all..Funky art all over causes unavoidable smiles! Price was right and location made it easy to get to Edinburgh Castle by foot. It was a good walk from train station, We arrived at night and it was a bit confusing finding our way out of the station, but once we were on the main street the hostel was a pretty straight run and we never felt threatened in the area, walking alone with my daughter at 1 am.
