Camping Fusina is located outside Venezia island, so it's quite difficult to get there in the late evening, because the last ferry or/and bus goes ca. 20. Except that fact, the camping is excellent, quite cheap (9,5eur or 13eur via hostels.com), full of greenery all around, silently, very clean. Magdalena, from Poland ~ 15th May 2012

nice location when you arrive by car, as we did. we were able to park directly in front of our "room". the ferry-service to venice is excellent (12 euro pp). the rooms are ok for 1 or 2 nights, not very clean, not very comfortable beds and very thin walls. the bar on the camp ground is quite expensive (5 euro for 0,5 l beer), but in venice, EVERYTHING is expensive. all in all, it suits our needs - for an excellent price! For us (interrailing students) the location's pretty bad because once you're there you're stranded unless you get the boat to Venice. (12 euro return!) You will DIE in the heat in August at night unless you bring a fan. We stayed in a little caravan and could hardly sleep.Good showers and loos but no soap anywhere. The staff we bored and robotic, no reason to be so grumpy. If you're getting the train station shuttle remind them because they forgot about taking us.Good communal area/supermarket. It is agood place but not easy to find out, specially when the website is not updated, there it is still mentioned that you have to take bus 11 from Mestre station, BUT IT DOES NOT EXIST such a bus Alvaro de Jesus, from Bolivia ~ 10th Jul 2011
