The lady who cleans rooms was very sweet, as was the groundskeeper.Front desk personnel were very unhelpful to the point of rudeness. A couple examples. Checking in, The girl was going to show me to my room, but when she saw I was going to be a while since I waslady handling 2 very heavy bags on my own, poked the key at me and told me the room was the room was at the top of the stairs. The security woman would not me where I could eat. Was not allowed to make a local call from hotel phone. katherine, from USA ~ 8th Jul 2012

Great location on the hip strip, ask for Rohan at the Twisted Kilt across the street for good food and drinks, comfortable room with all the necessities, balcony only has a view if on the third floor. Brian, from USA ~ 3rd Jun 2012

not even a kettle in the room to make tea shame.massive climb with cases up spiral staircase not good.very expensive area to eat so a kitchen would be good and may be then you meet other guests did not meet any others there to discuss ideas or where to go or where to eat.so it did not feel like a hostel but value for money for bed. beds very high off ground and narrow.was clean and basic. andrea, from England ~ 20th Oct 2010
