The passage floor was noisy for night times.The women's bathroom needs basic repairs.At times there were insufficient chairs for the lounge/kitchen area. We stayed at the Central City Backpackers for a couple of nights when traveling in Tasmania. The huge hostel is perfectly located in the center of the city, but surprisingly not noisy! Staff was super friendly and flexible! Kristiina, from Finland ~ 13th Feb 2013

Great value hostel for money. Good location with good facilities and decent sized rooms so beds weren't all cramped together. Decent kitchen with free tea and coffee and plenty of space to sit and relax. I had a great stay here and would recommend it for a short stay in Hobart. Sarah, from England ~ 16th Dec 2012
