I stayed 2 nights in a single room, which costed me about $70 per night. I was sad to discover that the wifi connection only covers the computer and breakfast rooms... Breakfast was quite minimal (one bagel with small jam and one fruit), and only served between 8am and 10am. The corridor of my room was a bit smelly, and my room was very warm because exposed to the sun all day long, and without air conditioning. Overall, it was not too bad, but not necessarily a good value either. NY is not cheap Adrien, from France ~ 3rd Jun 2012

Many of the guests complained about the 8am breakfast, which is too late.When you are travelling, you are up early and its very annoying to have to wait around until 8am.A 7am breakfast would have been much more suitable Sara, from Australia ~ 1st Jun 2012

I stayed in a private room which was really basic but if you're going to stay in new york city, all you need is a bed- you'll be out all day anyway! My room was clean and quiet, I barely saw anyone around and never had to wait to use the facilities. Wifi was terrible but there's a Starbucks on every corner, use theirs. Fantastic location, I found staff in general to be helpful, except for one particular staff who was a racist douche, but don't let him affect you.
