The staff was very helpful and spoke English well. They were able to give accurate directions and bus numbers to any place we wanted to go. The dorm rooms and the entire hostel was very clean and welcoming.

Was initially going to pass through Cheng Du, but ended up staying for well over two weeks. For 10RMB, it's as cheap as you are likely to get. Rooms are big, nice communal balcony where you can relax, staff are friendly, everything is pretty clean. This place doesn't get many foreigners though, which is actually good for me, as I am learning the language, but depends what you are looking for. The staff generally speak decent English though. Bad points - not many, the staff are wonderful

Great location! Right next to the Tibetan quarter which had a wonderful atmosphere and some of the best food around! I would strongly recommend trying a Tibetan restaurant! The rooms were very spacious and the ensuite bathrooms were really nice!
