Chocolate Box Backpackers in , Taiwan

Stayed there for two nights in the dorm room. This is really one of Taipei's best! For 500 o 550 you get a very clean bed in a nice room in a good location near Guting station (but calm at night!). The people working at the hostel are really cool, they take their time to hang out with you, take you out for dinner, give you good advice, .... so this is a hostel how it should be :-)! My favorite hostel in Taipei after hopping through several. There is a new staff every day, and each one is extremely warm and helpful for fluent english travel advice. Common area right at front of hostel creates an awesome mood for meeting people since everyone passes through. Beds are comfy and clean. Private keyed lockers = safe storage for valuables overnight or on daytrips. Very close to student bar areas and a smaller night market within 5 min walking. I really enjoyed my stay in Chocolate Box, people were amazing!!! Every guesst has their own locker so don´t worry about the security facilities. This hostel has only 22 beds (or something like that) so the atmosphere is great!!! Romana, from Czech Republic ~ 1st Sep 2012
