Staff are nice, lovely, and funny! The location is just in the middle of everything where we could go shopping, dining, and even to the reef terminal or seaplane riding by foot. Very worth price of staying. Anyway, their front desk opens only specific time so you need to check and must contact them before if you plan to arrive other than those periods. No Air-Con, pretty hot and humid at night. Short reception hours, only kitchen available to socialize. Free meal is crap, as expected :)

Dear Steffen, Unfortunatly we dont have aircon, but that is why we can provide you with you such a cheap price which is probably why you booked our hostel. Also we make you very aware of our office hours upon arrival so that you are able to streamline anything that you may need with us. As far as a free meal goes. Mate its free. If its so bad, perhaps spend some money and make your own meal in the kitchen instead of slagging it off.

The reception was very nice and helpful, the rooms were nice except that the fridge was way too small for 4 people and you could not sit in the beds as they were too low. But altogether it was very nice. Keshia, from Germany ~ 27th Dec 2011

There are no lockers in the rooms, and the beds are really low, it means if you are staying in the one which is below the other you can't sit up. There are only a few reception hours, which makes organising your day difficult - I had to wait for my keys for 1,5 hour on arrival, though I informed the staff when I will get there. But anyways the staff is really helpful and friendly, which is a big adventage.

Dear Agnes, It is a shame that your negative review is not reflective of the quality extra service, price, location and accommodation that you actually received. I knew you were going to high maintenance as soon as we met but its still a shame that your expectations are exceeding your budget. Perhaps a Flashpackers or a hotel should be your choice in future.

Great! Very cheap compared to other hostel, great rooms with only 4 beds and spacious! There is also a small fridge for the food! Every day the staff cleans bathrooms and bedrooms! Great location in the heart of the city and accessible to all entertainment, supermarkets, agencies, Internet! The guy who works in the reception and really nice and friendly, willing to help!
