I had a great time at this hostel. They keep it nice and clean and having a pool and hammocks to hang out in so close to the center of san jose is a real treat.It is a bit of a walk to the center but all in all a good tradeoff. I stayed here for only one night on a quiet, rainy Monday. But I definitely see how and why this place could be poppin'. Two bars, a restaurant and a pool. The perfect spot to meet other travellers, fun bar, cool pool, relaxing lounge area and decent sized private rooms.
