the hostel staff were friendly and nice, they had no record of our stay but found us a room, which was great. Close to the metro station to get into London. Overall a good experience just keep in mind bathroom shower is tiny!! I would recommend to someone on a budget!

The bedroom itself was ok and with the bathroom inside of the room so i think that we were lucky.The problems are:The noise at night of the pub and a disco nerby in the weekend, to have breakfast in the pub(it´s dirty the following morning and opens everyday)and the tube in New Cross was out of service so by bus was 30 minutes to go to downtown (without traffic jam..)But for all these things, i think that it has a very good price if you aren´t very fussy, you don´t mind to be a bit far from

I stayed in the hostel for 10 days and I would recommend it if you are looking for a cheap hostel. The good things: It has got everything you need: Kitchens, showers, free wireless internet, very nice and helpful staff and free breakfast (pancakes on Sundays!). It has character, which is always nicer than the all-about-the-money-type hostels you sometimes find. The other guests (many of which are long-term-stayers) are nice.
