Room was large and comfortable. Only one bathroom on floor, and was often busy.Kitchen separated from dining area by heavy doors, hard to carry in food. Generally feel it is a good place to stay. Mardy, from USA ~ 7th Mar 2012

Was a nice old place with good location and a lot of amenities. I tend to enjoy the more intimate, character type hostels, as opposed to the motel experience (eg. old fashioned fitted duvets and cleaners knocking at your door, daily), so it wasn't really my thing but was ok. Location is right next to the train station, and about a 20 minute walk to the center of town.There is a bar on the first floor that is open to the public.Towels provided were nice, but rooms and bathrooms were not the cleanest. Eric, from USA ~ 12th Jan 2012

the man on the front desk (Manuel) was extremely rude and defensive, he clearly thinks he is working in the Hilton and not a really grotty hostel. he made us want to leave as soon as we arrived. the hostel itself is dirty and run down, i would not recommend a stay here no matter how convenient the location. julie, from England ~ 29th Nov 2011

In terms of location, the best hostel possible. Just close enough to the city centre to be quiet, and so close to the Railway station is just perfect for people with heavy backpacks. A range of things to do, it can be as noisy or as quiet as you like. Mark, from England ~ 2nd Oct 2011
