Dreamkapture Hostal in Rockhampton, Ecuador

We enjoyed this hostel.The first room they put us in was very smelly and had a lot of mold in the bathroom.We complained and they moved us to a great room.The setting was great.Only one staff member spoke English.Stayed there a week and I´d return.

The staff were very inviting, warm, & helpful.I was there only 1 night, but the group of travelers who were also there were friendly/outgoing, so we all had a good time.The night-person was up to see that I got off on time (4AM).I will stay there again if I am ever in Guayaquil again.Sally Wright. Good location if you want to go to the airport or bus terminal, not so good if you want to go downtown. Good all around.

Reaching downtown is easy by bus (about 25 minutes) or by Taxi (15 minutes). We provide our clients with free maps with the bus and taxi information. We are proud not to be located in the City center because at night in the center there are few restaurants that are open and it is potentially unsafe for tourist in many areas. In the neighborhood of Alborada where Dreamkapture located at night the area comes alive with many restaurants opening up for dinner and many people walking about, and the area is extremely safe in comparison to the city center.

Not bad. Fan was broken and room was very hot. Some of the satff were very nice and freindly, in the evening and at night. Some of the day staff were very rude though. David, from England ~ 26th Aug 2011
