the staff were very friendly and the hostel is ideally located to everything including the train station. The 14 bunk room was a little cramped, but did have air con. The bathrooms were very basic and the upstairs toilets very very small! Beware of the stairs! but overall a decent place to stay!

This was not a horrible situation by any means, and the staff were great and very friendly. Lockers were a roll of the dice and if you get a small one you can't fit your stuff in them. I saw multiple mice while I was there, don't put stuff on the floor. The stairs are an experience.

Durty Nellys was easy to find, the beds were clean, the security lockers were large enough for my backpack which was nice. The breakfast was good as well. The only complaint was the stairs next to the bathroom were really steep and the lower bunks were so low that I couldn't sit up properly, and I'm not tall, but other than that, it was an enjoyable experience.

its cool people...its a place where u get a ed and some breakafast (unlimitted coffe) for cheap...you get out and theres coffeshops, stores...all that..have fun!! go durty nellys!

I loved my stay at the Durty Nelly! The guys behind the bar are great and willing to help you anything that you need. The ladies behind the bar, well, they leave something to be desired. Having a little Irish pub on the bottom floor of the hostel ensures that you always have some sort of entertainment in Amsterdam, though there is no lack of that in Amsterdam.
