El Buho in Lisbon, Costa Rica

El Buho was on a residential street right in town, but hard to find partly because almost no one In La Fortuna knew where it was. Our room and bathroon were very small, but adequate and exceptionally clean. It was more like a hotel than a hostel - no social or community space. Very inexpensive, and as I mentioned very clean. We spent 4 nights at this hostel. It is very well located near the city centre. Have a look at the rooms on the 2nd floor, they are better. Wi-fi available and tv in our room. Sophie, from Canada ~ 10th Feb 2012

The unfriendliest lady I have ever met!The attendant was so not personable at all.She was so busy trying to sell me tour packages that she did not answer any of my questions.Instead she would deflect my question by trying to sell me a tour.No common areas, so not ideal for the lone traveler.
