I've stayed in Emeral Palace, just across the street... Very confortable place, located close to the station but not in a very crowded part of the city, wich is good. I did not have to worry about security at all, and the staff is always very fun and helpful. =)

The staff was helpfully accomodating when I wanted to change the dates of my stay. It's a bit of a walk to downtown. I had good experiences with the advertisers in the free map they give you, but don't go to the buffet some of the staffers "recommend".

We thought we were staying in the main hostel, but we were actually in an apartment in the san marco piazza. The apar tment was really nice, but really loud as it ws next to a main street. It wasnt ideal for meeting people, b ut we enjoyed our stay nontheless

Everyone from the people who work here, to the people who come here are awesome. I wish I could have stayed longer, Felipe is very helpful, he is a sweetheart. This is a great place to chill and have fun!

Quite a walk if you arrive by bus. Has a really nice garden with free wireless internet access. Value for money!

the people from Emerald Fields is supper cool the are helpful in any thing that you may need, places to visit, were to buy food and wine for a good price, and even were to go to have a great time at night,.

Our reservation was in a 6 bed dorm for 2 nights. Instead we got a 3 bed dorm and the next day, they just added an extra bed. It is 15 min from the train station. The bathroom in the 2nd floor was awkward to use, I hit my head twice. The neighbors could see you in this bathroom. At busy times, it was difficult to get an empty bathroom. Felipe was very very helpful, he knows everything. When we were there, there was a couple of girls who could not find a place to sleep, he was very nice to help t
