The extra fees for bedsheets and what not should be mentioned on hostel.com, not in an e-mail after our booking, rooms should have locks, wifi should be available in rooms, someone should be at reception when we leave our keys. Staff could be more friendlier, Sagaana, from Canada ~ 6th May 2013

The Hostel is in a great location, close to the Rialto bridge. The staff didn't speak English well and made communication difficult. The 4 Bed Dorm we booked was a 6 bed room with four beds reserved for us. The kitchen isn't very well equipped. At check-out no staff was present. We had to wait half an hour till someone came and he just said we should put our keys on the table. All in all the hostel is in a great location but doesn't seem very professional. I loved the girly colors and the location was pretty good right next to a pretty well known restaurant.It was pretty cold and it echoed a lot.My feet got dirty if I walked down the hall barefoot. The bathrooms weren't my favorite.But, the kitchen was nice for dining ,and it was very quiet and easy to sleep at night.No computers so, but Wifi in the lobby.Bring your own soap.Ask all questions when checking in and get all towels and other needs, staff is not always there. Very central location, easy to find & free wifi. Emilio was very helpful with all enquiries, especially my lost luggage! This hostel is great if you are a single female traveling alone. This hostel is extremely well kept, cleaned every day and right by everything!!!! It's a little hard to find at first but it's well worth the stay. The couple who run the place are very nice and always willing to help you out as much as they can!
