Franz Kafka Hostel in Ios, Tsekin Tasavalta

A proper dorm bed with always-accessible showers and toilets. No common room for socializing with other travellers so not really a very entertaining place to spend rainy days. Still, the location is great (right next to the old town square and within walking distance of virtually any Prague sights) so I would recommmend the place to people who are mostly using the hostel as a place to store your backpack, sleep and shower. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Franz Kafka. The staff were exceptionally accommodating and friendly. They arranged an airport transfer for me and even stayed up until 0130 to let me into my room! Now that's service. The facilities were clean and always available. Also, the hostel provides the HUGEST pillows that I have ever encountered. I loved it. I highly recommend the Franz Kafka to anyone who is travelling to Praha on a slim budget. Well-worth your money and well-located in the city.
