Brilliant hostel. I was welcomed with a very thorough introduction to Rome, including a map of the ancient city, and also a lovely bottle of wine! Staff were very helpful, and the rooms were clean. The only downside was the lack of a common area in our section. Aside from that, it's a great lace to stay. Thomas, from England ~ 3rd Jun 2012

This place was OK.Good location because it's right new Termini but the room was nothing special.We missed our flight arriving into Rome and still had to pay for the first night even though I sent them a cancellation email.They conveniently "didn't get" that email.Sure.If you're doing the backpack thing and looking to meet other travelers this is not the place for you.Not terrible if you want a private room.I would not stay here again. I loved my stay, the building in which the rooms where was very safe and even grandiose, the rooms were large and clean, and was cleaned daily. The checkin/out times were flexible. The staff was friendly and welcomes you with a bottle of wine! The only issues I had with this hostel was the lack of hot water in the showers in the morning, and the fact that six people shared one bathroom although one room had its private one. O Hostel é muito bem localizado (há poucos metros da estação Termini). O quarto é muito confortável e possui uma ótima suíte. É limpo e organizado. Possui boa conexão wi-fi no quarto. O café da manhã é muito ruim. O staff é bem prestativo, simpático, mas são pouco disponíveis. Oferecem toalha de graça. Te dão uma garrafa de vinho como presente e boas orientações sobre a cidade. To me the only draw back of the Funny Place is no common kitchen. The staff could not be more supporative. Problems were addressed and resolved in short order. Plus you can get the laundry done while you view the sights. Overall a good place to stay. Walter, from USA ~ 11th Apr 2012

Very nice place, close to train station. A short walk to monuments but also the bus stops at the train station (and the metro). Breakfast is free at a local cafe, better than any other hostel breakfast I've had yet! The staff are all very nice and helpful, good tips on what to see and how to avoid lines!
