Generator Hostel Hamburg in , Saksa

What a hostel. The location is ideal for the city. The room has lockers under each bunk. In your bunk you get a reading light, plug and 2 USB connections. I had WiFi on the first floor don't know if its through out the whole hostel though. If your staying in Hamburg make sure you stay here. The only downside is the size of the shower and bathroom, i'm not a big guy but i could still barely move. John, from Ireland ~ 19th Jan 2013

Keine Tische/Stühle/Schränke im Zimmer. Auch kein Aufenthaltsraum. Sollte man sich im Hostel befinden und Hunger haben, ist man gezwungen dort zu kaufen/zu essen. Eine Toilette so groß wie ein Dixie-Klo. Im Grunde: 8 Betten auf kleinen Raum platziert. Die Karte - um in das Hostel bzw. ins Zimmer zu kommen - musste mehrmals getauscht werden, weil sie sich entladen hat (Was auch der Hälfte meiner Zimmergenossen so ging. Die Lage ist TOP! the room was way too small for 4 people. the bathroom was incredibly small and uncomfortable, pretty unusable and with no window or air inlet. you couldn't open the window enough for air exchange. you have to pay 6 euros for a towel. Alessio, from Italy ~ 11th Sep 2012

Great Generator hostel- have stayed in a few and this one is pretty good. My only lament would be the size of the en-suite bathroom/showers in the 8 person mixed dorm, a bit tiny! Not something that will make or break your stay though. A great location, easily accessible to all parts of the city. The bar/lounge area is super fun and easy to meet people in. The staff were all fantastic (and good looking) and very willing to help you out. Would definitely recommend it- a great value! Jillian, from USA ~ 29th Jun 2012
