The staff was very helpful and made you feel at home. BREAKFAST WAS AMAZING!!!! To get in you had to have your key card, which got you into your room. The beds were mostly clean. Bathrooms were alright, but small. It was kind of cold in the room and when we asked to turn it up he said the place was old and it would take a while, so remember that. The water took about 10 minutes to heat up, so just turn it up and let it run for a while. There isnt any security in the room. So bring a little lock

Hotels with room to say the least by disgusting!!!. They made us pay 120 euros a night a room close gloomy and no mixing of water and without heating. The director arrogant and very unfair. You write off all prospective clients to book this hotel "The townhouseofdublin." Shame on you!

Stayed four nights and got a 8-bed dorm in the basement, which was old, tiny, damp and smelly, with quite a lot of mould in the run-down bathroom. This dorm was the worst I have ever slept in. I complained about it and the nice staff lady arranged a change for the following nights. One of the managers denied the bad state of the first bedroom, though, and got pretty aggressive. The second dorm, again in the basement, had steel beds, not wooden, with windows again to the cellar (no daylight at al

First impression is awe with the amazing wall murals, red & black theme and character features intact...LOVELY! Most of the desk staff was kind and helpful. But, I don't get the hype about the breakfast. Yes, it's buffet style with the usual cereal & juice plus fruit cocktail out of a can (no fresh fruit). Then you have the typical English/Irish? breakfast - fried eggs dripping in oil, greasy bacon, deep fried (previously frozen) hashbrown triangle, bland sausage and cold toast. You can have as
