I booked this hostel because of it's relative fame, but after staying there I cannot really understand why. It's a great hostel for big groups of foreign students, for sure, with the bar downstairs and nice decor. However, taking a private room there is not that great. Room was tiny, and we could hear loud music from the bar. Bathrooms and kitchen stuff were not that clean. On top of that radiators didn't work for 2 nights and when we came for breakfast there was no refills at 10 AM! Overrated. Justyna, from Poland ~ 28th Dec 2012

GREAT TIME ! I Just got there , I felt like HOME. Really nice STAFF and AMAZING atmosphere I meet too many nice people being there couple of days. Really cool the pub & garden , maybe not so close to the Old Town but not so far , nice walk :). Good Bye Lenin Hostel - Pub & Garden is a fifteen minute walk away from the city centre and the railway station. Breakfast in this hostel is excellent and the whole hostel is very clean. Good Bye Lenin was an awesome time. The staff is a joy to be around. They are having as much fun working there as we did staying there. My only regret is that we did not plan for 2 nights. It is not in the main square but is a very short walk. Also, it is an even shorter walk to the other hub of activity. The pub, located on the bottom floor was a great time from the evening until the early morning hours and the outdoor beer garden is equally inviting! Great staff. The breakfast is amazing and there is so much. The beer is a local brew, one of the best I've ever had, it is incredibly cheap during happy hour 18:00-20:00.
