Gordon Inn in Hurghada, Israel

We had to check out early, the staff told us they would try to get us some early breakfast the next day. The staff member who was setting up breakfast the next morning refused to let us into the breakfast room and kicked us out of the hostel. Adam, from USA ~ 3rd Jun 2012

I was satisfied overall with my stay at the Gordon Inn. The location is great - three blocks from the best section of the beach, and along the main avenues for bars and restaurants. There was a mix of the normal hostel crowd with the people staying in the double or single rooms - this meant that the lobby had fewer guests looking to socialize with other travelers. Staff was helpful with directions, good breakfast, good common area with wifi and pool table.The private room was adequate, and there was not too much jostling for the shared bathroom (though I went during low season).Lots of eating places nearby and a few bars, beach is also close. Room with no character. Room noisy on the corridor to the rest room. Very expensive compared with the value of other hostels in Jerusalem where we rented private en suite rooms .
