This was a lovely hostel with very friendly staff.The only concern I had was the large number of people running around the corridors screaming - which didn't make for a very relaxing visit. Carly, from England ~ 30th Apr 2012

I've stayed at many hostels in Europe and Asia and this might just be the best one I've ever stayed in. We got the Double bed private room and the room is huge!! It's like a mini apartment with a kitchen (including refrigerator and utensils)and eating area, bedroom, and private bathroom. No breakfast(although there is a small cafe around the corner to which the hostel sells vouchers for 3 euros I believe), but the best solution is to buy your own groceries. The biggest advantage of this hostel is its convenient location to the West train station and other bus/metro lines. Because of this great location I was able to efficiently use my time and visit most of the places I had planned to in Vienna. The rooms are within house-like suites, meaning kitchen, dinning room, family room and bathroom are particular to your shared suite. I WOULD reccomend this cosy and warm hostel. Yet it was not the peak of the season, both staff and people around the hostel were very friendly. Very close to Wbhf, a few seconds walk from Mariahilfer strasse... All in all - for that money you simply CANNOT get more. Vojin, from Serbia ~ 21st Nov 2011

Our stay in HappyHostel was interesting. If you are after a relatively comfy bed for the night in a massive room then perfect, but if you are after atmosphere and a decent bathroom then perhaps look elsewhere. We stayed in a double room which was spacious however the bathroom was teeny tiny and we had problems with the toilet.
