Nothing is new there, the building existed and obviously a lot of things need maintenance (bathrooms with no ventilation, no light bulbs on private lamps to read...) Very cold in corridors and all common areas due to ventilation. Nothing exciting or funky, and the kitchen is really poorly designed!! It's clean enough, and a convenient place to get around, but that's about the extent of it, don't expect crazy as people get up very early to leave on tours at 5.30 a.m. Marie, from France ~ 16th Jun 2011

The general Bathroom looks a bit unclean, it would be better if it was cleaned up for vistors, also the sofa looks unkempt.The facilities in the kitchen was untidy and broken cutlery.The location didnt have any other places in close proximity where we could visit in the evening. Hostel was ok. nothing great to expect. But the cheapest in town. if you book at hostel.com you get a bed for $19 (check your receipt!). But be carefull, when I wanted to book a seconde night I had to remind the lady that I don't want to pay for the full price of $23 but $19. No security lockers in room!
