Hospedaje Turistico Recoleta in , Peru

Found this place through Hostels.com, and I certainly agree with all of the reviews. Very well treated, very straightforward, clean, affordable, and problem-free for my one night stay. I could find it fairly easily thanks to the instructions on the website (basically, don't fall for imitators), and the bread and pancake breakfast was a wonderful plus. This is one of the best hostel experiences we have had anywhere. The manager and his staff are very accomodating and will take care of any changes of plan you may have. The building has a lot of character, and the area is just far enough from city center to not deal with the noise. This is a nice, very clean, roomy, helpful, inexpensive and friendly place.The rooms are not special but are large and clean. They did forget to give us a wake-up call. This hostal is highly recommended! The staff here are super friendly and very helpful. The girls here cook you a fresh breakfast every morning! The place is also very clean and quiet with hot showers and a beautiful terrace. The hostal is located about a 15 minute walk to the main squarebut this is nice if you want a location thats not loud and busy. The value of the hostal is great because of this. The staff at Turistico Recoleto were very helpfull with arranging taxa to Poroy when going twith the train o Machu Picchu - and when coming back from M.P they helped us to buy bus ticket to Puno .
