I really enjoyed my stay at Hostel Blues. The staff was very helpful and accommodating when I checked inand afterwards with anything I needed. The rooms were good, I stayed in a 6 bed female dorm which was very spacious with an own bathroom. The provided lockers+locks were great, I haven't seen that in many hostels. The room & bathroom were very clean. I like how the rooms are subdivided in apartments The common areas were fantastic and very cozy. My only problem was the 10 Euro deposit for the key that had to be made in cash. That's 4x the amount of any other key deposit. It left me poor for the night. Also, the locker key is typically small but not on any keychain because the other key is a card. So it'd be really easy to lose your locker key. Rachel, from USA ~ 13th Mar 2012

highly recommended hostel close to old town. A short stroll from the bus station, this hostel is really nice. Highlights: large common area with bar. New and clean kitchen to cook. Eating areas with nice tables. An area just for chilling. The rooms are large, nice bunk beds. Clean bathrooms. Very convenient to see all the sights in Bratislava. Multiple common rooms were very nice. The clustering of bedrooms into apartments that shared showers caused some morning queueing. No breakfast, but a big supermarket across the street. Wifi was a bit spotty. Stephen, from USA ~ 12th Oct 2011
