Located in a historic building along the waterfront, the hostel was a reasonable walk from the train station and amongst the sights in town. The kitchen was like a home ec classroom, with multiple complete stations, and the shared showers were plentiful. Lots of huge, free lockers. Note that although they offer a theoretical discount for members of Hostelling International, they disallow it if you book in advance, the explanation being the amount lost in commissions is already too large.
