Hotel Guanacaste in Tamarindo, Costa Rica

We got there and they tried to tell us our reservation didn't exist and then tried to charge us $40 for a very very small room (approx. 8 ft x 8 ft for three people) and eventually he gave us a room but since there were only two beds in the room he would not give us another room but rather put a mattress on the floor and still charged us the same price as the other beds and we could hardly move around it was so small. The bathroom was very very tiny as well, the toilet was practically in the sho Rachael, from USA ~ 2nd Aug 2011

10 minutes from the airport by taxi. close to bus station which i took for the next trip. Receptionists know a little English and was able to communicate with me, I used a translation book if needed. The food is good. Karaoke was there the night I stayed. Met many travelers. In a central location next to shops and restaurants. affordable. Rhiannon, from USA ~ 10th Nov 2011
