Hotel Mirabeau in Bryssel, Belgia

The location was great, but it was really cold in the hostel and in our room. We asked the staff about our broken radiator, but no one came to check it. I wouldn't recommend to stay in this hotel while it's freezing outside. Even with an extra blanket it was cold at night. The breakfast is included in the price and was OK. The location was excellent, we had a two bed room and the only bad thing was that the bathroom smelled bad for some reason. We stayed only one night so it wasn't a problem, there's no curtains for the shower but they aren't needed anyway. Good if you wanna stay in the center without spending much money. First of all there was no security - we stayed 2 nights and both days someone else was in our rooms (a guy fixing the heater or pretending to fix it). it was bloody freezing - others had the same issues (heating not working, no hot water etc). Third of all the breakfast - we didnt even bother to go downstairs the second day (it was really bad) finally the roof was leaking. No table lamp for reading. Hotel Mirabeau en reformas. Creo que las reformas (necesarias según lo visto) son un pretexto para evitar quejas de los clientes. Es probable que dentro de un par de años continuen con el mismo pretexto. Pésima relación calidad-precio. Sería conveniente que personal de Hostels.com verificará información del hotel. Precio excesivo (40€ persona-noche) para una habitación donde la calefacción no funciona (temperatura exterior 8º) y mal cerramiento de una de las ventanas. The room stank of tobacco. We had reserved a room with toilet but got one without. The lamps had loose electrical wiring, the walls were dirty. The lock on the door was also not working properly and the key got stuck in the lock always when locking and unlocking, and we had to struggle to get it loose. When complaining about the room we were told it was all that was available. In the morning we were told that it was a mistake, and we were promised a refund but I have still not received it!
