There are heroin junkies sleeping in the dorms, as well as drunk people. There is also a dealer selling drugs to a lot of people that simply lives there. I've talked to a man in is 50's and he said that e lived there because it was cheaper than paying a rent. When i got to the dorm i pulled up the mattress and there was old packs of cigarettes, used tissues, a sandwich wrapper full of mole and a lot more. Don't let outside appearance to fake you, for the money you pay, you get a lots of extra for it, as you could expect for 4 - 5 star hostel the breakfast is great with lots of choice and the rooms gives you so much privacy as you can accept I would say it's the best hostel in London so far Darius, from Lithuania ~ 23rd Apr 2013

Unfortunately, the worst hostel I've ever stayed in - no heating in the rooms and horrible blue floors which gives you a sick feeling! Did not feel safe at all with drunk people screaming at the odd hours of the night and could not find a single clean shower in such a massive building with so many floors - which is a huge disappointment! I'm confused why so many bad reviews about this hostal on here as i foundthe place totally fine & would be happy to stay again.Good location & a clean comfy bed in a basic room with a sink - Good value for money in my opinion - Thanks Jaime, from England ~ 10th Nov 2012

Location is great obviously but when I first entered the dorm, I had a feeling I was travelling to the worst parts of the developping world again !! And I am not talking about toilet with hole on the floor :( Very poor standards of cleanliness and the kitchen and common room are the worst I have EVER seen in hostels in London (I have tried many of them). No free wifi and man at the reception was really rude to me when I arrived. Don't mix this one with the Smart Hyde park Inn hostel up the road Julien, from France ~ 15th Oct 2012

Bed was dirty, yet the linens were somewhat clean. The showers smelled strongly of mold, and the toilets were not functioning properly. I discovered that the doors locked only on one side (double doors). The people were very loud. I only got about 1 hour of sleep the entire night I was there.
