At India House I found that I did not need to search the entire City to find social contacts. The patio was so full of International travelers of varied and vibrant characteristics that there was never a dull moment there !The staff is just as varied and intesting that there is never a dull momment.I will always stay there when I am in NOLA ! !That is until I own my own property in the City.India House,You have my vote and loyalty as often as I can visit NOLA. The India Hostel was my first hostel experience and it was...amazing! Great location, awesome facility w/ wonderful staff, cool atmosphere- highly recommend this place to everyone. Needless to say, I can't wait to return! Meghan, from USA ~ 1st May 2012

I had never stayed in a hostel previously, but when I arrived at India House, I knew I made a good choice. The vibe here is friendly and I never felt unsafe. There was always someone manning the front desk, who were super accomodating with any questions or concerns I had. The only thing that truly bothered me was an issue with the housekeeping staff. One brought her 3 yr old child every day, who ran around screaming and yelling, practically unattended, while she worked. Stressed me out. Margaret, from USA ~ 27th Mar 2012
