Fun place with a good staff, most of whom are from abroad linked to the Christian group that runs it (but no evangelism occurs). Even when it isn't waffle night, there are cookies, tea, coffee. Very short walk from train station. One room with 54 beds is a little noisy although there's a good divider between dorm & common areas, in our two nights lights went out around midnight and a steam of people were packing & leaving well before 6am. Great hostel mainly due to the lovely friendly staff & relaxing lounge. Waffle day is awesome! dorm is surprisingly spacious and doesn't feel like there are so many beds there. Not enough showers/toilets but understandable since it's only a summer hostel. That said, children should NOT be allowed in a big shared mixed dorm. Not appropriate for kids & not fair on the rest of the paying customers to be woken at 5am by screaming babies. Hope this will not be a future policy. Michelle, from New Zealand ~ 29th Jun 2011

great place right next to the center of town.50 people to a huge room but it is pretty quiet and I slept great while there.maybe bring ear plugs just in case.awesome helpful staff as well! Julian, from USA ~ 25th Jun 2011

it's all depends on who your share mates are, if they are quite don't snoore whole night long, then this should be okfor a budget stay. please remove the hot water buttton if the manager could, coz it really isn't a good ideam as i was stressed out when i had a shower. i was awared that the hot water could run out anytime with in 7 mins. li fang, from Taiwan ~ 23rd Jun 2011
