The dorm I stayed in was clean. There were small lockers in the room to store valuables. The beds were comfortable and the shower/bathrooms were spacious and stocked with shampoo/body wash. The staff was friendly. I would definitely stay here again. The hostel itself is about a 15 minute walk from Hakata station, and right next to a Hotto Motto and a Lawson if you need a quick snack. Pros: Staff is quite knowledgeable about Fukuoka, and can give good recommendations about places to visit. Inexpensive Third floor has a nice kitchen and common area. Good wi-fi Cons: It's a bit far (10 to 15 minutes by foot) from Hakata Station (though they do give good directions for getting there). No breakfast available. Overall: I would willingly stay here, if I were to visit Fukuoka again. Matt, from USA ~ 1st Mar 2012

There aren't many hostels around Hakata Station, but this is probably the best of what's available. It would be very good except that it's about a 15-20 minute walk from the station. Bus makes it a lot easier, but at a cost of 100 yen each way. yeon joo, from USA ~ 14th Sep 2011
