The Hostel itself is not too far from the memorial park and the next tram station, which helps you explore the main attractions pretty fast (including Momijidani within around 1h 15 min, train and ferry). The rooms have on the one hand a bit of a small but also cozy feel about them. The japanese style living room right next to the kitchen (small oven and microwave) is great to enjoy some tea sitting on the floor. And don't miss out on the yummy Hiroshima Okonomiyaki in the city. They were having a takoyaki party while we were there, so that was cool. It's a little confusing to get to, but the instructions are detailed and there's a video to show you, so I recommend printing/checking it out beforehand. If you're headed to the peace park it's the perfect distance. It's a very international, backpacking environment. The rooms were clean and so were the bathrooms, etc. The staff were helpful and fluent English/Japanese and seemed eager to help and answer all our questions. Melissa, from USA ~ 13th Aug 2012

Absolutely amazing experience!The staff were really helpful and friendly (we had a great sushi party!), the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the common area was small enough that everyone was encouraged to talk and meet each other.Really convenient, close walk to the Peace Park.
