Bit of a mix-up with my bed on the second night, but generally a nice place to stay.

Rude French guy at reception made me feel terrible. No one spoke with each other. The breakfast was pretty basic. Hot showers were nice. The mattresses were gym mats - with the covers on them and everything. VERY small and uncomfortable beds.

I was very sorry to hear that a member of my team upset you and you have my assurance that this has been dealt with and the person concerned, no longer works at this Hostel. I take on board your comments re Breakfast and will look at improving where possible, bearing in mind we are a Backpacker's Hostel and no other here in Brighton actually provide Breakfast free of charge, I appreciate your comments though. As for the type of Mattresses we have here, I have been assured that these are the best on the market, especially when it comes to preventing such things as Bed Bugs, which many other properties tend to get, we thankfully have no such problem. Again however, I appreciate your comments and thank you again for taking the time to post your feedback. I do hope you will give us another chance to change your view of the Hostel by coming to stay again on your next trip to Brighton. Stayed here for 2 weeks and didn't have any problems. Nice place to stay for a while, would recommend to a friend.
