The Hotel is located in a quiet street, very close to the centre, transports, supermarkets and also car rentals. We stayed 1 night in May, so I guess the period wasn't that busy and we basically had the shared bathroom and shower only for us, as well as the kitchen. Common spaces and our room were really clean, although a bit small and old fashion. Generally good value for money and recommendable accommodation. daniela, from Italy ~ 2nd Jun 2012

The Kook is a small boutique hostel in the Spring Hill area.... only a 10 minute walk to the action down town or to the Central RR and bus stations. I had a single room at a very reasonable price. There is nothing special about the rooms....the the basics of what one needs to crash for an evening. The staff of one was very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a budget room in a very quiet setting, this if for you.If you are looking for party action, you will want to go elsewhere Robert, from USA ~ 19th May 2012

Really enjoyed my stay here. Very accomidating staff and very clean place. Was worried about the shared toilets untill I got there and saw how clean they were. Very friendly and easy going people and would stay there again in a flash! Samantha, from Ireland ~ 25th Mar 2012

We stayed here 5 nights as a couple and would really recomand it. The rooms are big, nice and clean. The cleaning lady do her job very well. The kithcen is not big, but it has all that you need. There is free coffe and tea and a good TV-room. It also has two tabels outside and free WiFi. We thoght it was very good value for the money. Even if it is many people staying there, you hardley see them. The bathrooms was nice and the shower rooms were excelent. I would go back if I am going to Brisbane Andre, from Norway ~ 4th Mar 2012
