Kville Hotel in Lima, Ruotsi

We had a great time staying here probably the best place in the two weeks we have been traveling. The staff was very helpful in offering things to do and see in the city. Gothenburg is not really the backpacker's destination, and as a result there are few hostels catering to young budget travelers. The staff here was EXCELLENT, in fact of one the best I have encountered during my travels. In addition, there were quite a few young travelers and I met a couple cool peeps. Thanks for your input! Our neighbor is the police station 150 meters away, so we would say that its a very safe area even at nighttime. We have (all staff at the hotel) never seen anyone getting arrested in the neighborhood, so it is nothing common. Good though that the police do an excellent job. It is fortunately very rare the unwanted persons get into the hotel and we work constantly make the hotel as secure as possible. No one can just walk in to the hotel. Someone must have let that person in, maybe thinking that it was someone staying at the hotel. The homeless guy you mentioned was well dressed and showed no signs of being what he was. There were lockers in the room for storage. Front desk wasn't open for very long. Wasn't in great walking distance from downtown, but a short bus ride and you are there. Overall average hostel. Brian, from USA ~ 7th Jul 2011
