La Dolce Vita Rooms in Merida, Italia

This was a large apartment located in a family neighborhood.We felt safe and had plenty of room for all of our baggage.There was a full kitchen, dining table, couch/futon and queen bed.The bathroom was a decent size but didn't know how to get the hot water going for the shower.After talking to one of the staff it was a simple fix.You have to push a button on the hot water tank and wait 30m minutes and then you have plenty of hot water.The office is at a different location from the apartment, bu Jennifer, from USA ~ 6th Jul 2011

Very nice place, clean and spacious. The only gripe is lack of wifi - but there are many places like a cafe downstairs where you only need to buy a Euro coffee to get access. Hot water, air-con/heat - TV all working fine. Highly recommended. Zulkifi, from USA ~ 4th May 2012

I sent 3 emails regarding parking but had no reply. When we arrived at the hostel (before around 4pm) there was no one in the office, computer was on but no one, we waited for 15 mins, then we saw another address which was a shop close to the hostel, so my husband went to the shop, later a lady came to check us in, but she couldnt speak much English...room was ok for its price, just a bit pain to park and check in. The basic room which we chose is about 70 steps from the main street (there's only one there), so consider the weight and size of your bags. On the other hand, there's a kitchen and a small independent room attached, with a single bed. Forget the tv. Only 4 channels, bad signal, small tv. But you will not care about that: the place is amazing and you easily can reach all the others villages by train, boat, or even walking. Sunset is spectacular and the beach as well, good to swimming/snorkelin fabio, from Brazil ~ 3rd Nov 2011
