Booked a room with shared bathroom. Ended up with one tiny toilet in the hallway and no shower. But who needs to shower when you visit Paris....=)

I don't like the fact that the charge for internet and the three computers in the common room are always messing up. You never know if it's going to work or not and they don't really have an explanation. I'm not too impressed with this place. The location isn't that great either. I'm not staying here again. Although I will admit the guy working nights sometimes was really cool and he kept the kitchen open passed 10pm.

The staff is ok, but the (private) bedroom was dirty and had a bad smoke smelling. A tip: there's a lan house 20 steps from the hostel where you pay half the price to use the internet.

If you are an early waker, it is a perfect location as there is a school runs between 0900-1800 mon - fri next to it. transport is great, day ticket most effective = 4 trips per day any type. simple breakfast; clean rooms, best of all is the friendly and helpful staff.

i really enjoyed my stay in this hostel. it's really close to a metro station, and just around the corner from some cute cafes. i recommend it to anyone who wants to be in the heart of a real french neighborhood, not in a super touristy area.

I would highly recommend this hostel. Other than the no air conditioning and the stairs, the price was excellent for our location and for the view we had of sacre coeur from our window. Stay here!
