Great location in Montmartre if you want access to the area. I loved having a balcony overlooking the main street. Lovely breakfast. Pleasant staff. The rooms are rather small and don't look like their online images, but you can't beat the charm.

The hostels location is perfect for people who like to get to know Montmartre, what is very lively and interesting for young people. Via Metro you can easily achieve all the important sights. As the hostel is directly situated at a main road it can be a bit noisy. We were lucky to have a room to the other direction. Number of toilets for rooms with shared facilities are a bit rare. Someone before said that breakfast is extremely good. We thougt it was ok but nothing special.

Now, of course the room looked nothing like it does in the photo. And the street noise would keep anyone used to a quiet night awake all night. I had to laugh when I opened my door and it hit the night stand. But hey, it's France and space is at a premium... I was disappointed when I found that even though when I booked online I was given the impression that there would be a bathroom in my room. Not so.. There is a sink in a the room with a mirror. Great location, small but perfectly formed rooms with great en suite shower rooms. All you can eat for breakfast included. Mix and match decor. Friendly staff. Generally a great place to stay, try and get a room with a view or balcony.

The room I lived is on the first floor with balcony facing main street. Though it have a wonderful view facing a little pedestrian park, it is quite noisy at night, as I could hear people talking over the street and traffics coming east and west. Room facility is quite good because there is a little washing basin and quite a big mirror. Breakfast is absolutely better than expected with wide range of choices e.g. cereal, toast, yogurt, and even a coffee machine!

This was a fine hotel/hostel if you are looking for a comfortable place to sleep. It's very small but safe.
My complaints would be the bathroom on one floor, shower on the other, and sink in your room. Also the public shower leaked into our room in the corner, kind of gross.
But besides that it was nice and affordable - staff was very helpful.
