a wicked hostel do not have anything bad to say about it perfect hostel for fun social people very convinient for good nightlife.good hostel for solo travellers as its so friendly.amazing place i want to go and live in this hostel!!

Long Street Backpackers totally rocks, the security is excellent and it is right in the middle of everything, especially if you like clubbing. The staff are fantastic and the bar is character rich environment if you want to relax and have a couple of bears. I was only going to stay for 4 nights, now im going to stay the better part of a month. I defiantly recommend this hostel.

A really great location with a fun and laid-back atmosphere. Love the music. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and gladly booked any tours we were interested in or told us how we could do them on our own. They are all very knowledgeable about the city and South Africa in general which is great. The bar and the patio are great places to start the night, or just hang out. The kitchen facilities are fantastic - though it could use a better bread knife :-). I wish I could stay longer,
