Despite poor reviews, I booked here because I was on a tight budget. I was on the 4th floor - stuffy, overcrowded. Can't open the windows at night because it was so loud, its like sleeping at a bus station. No air con, and it was like sleeping in a sauna. Was there during spring - cannot imagine what summer there is like. Bathrooms are pathetic - bathrooms were literally half covered in mould and filthy. Can't use kitchen till 1500, so you're forced to eat their dismal breakfast for 3 Euros. ying wah virginia, from Canada ~ 6th May 2012

Despite the low ratings given, I actually had a good time! There is virtually no common area except your spacious dorms, The kitchen is tiny, the place is fairly dirty, the hot water only worked half the time. The staff are a bit touch and go - as a warning the internet price is 10 euro cheaper than if you rock up. There is also no wifi in the hostel - its down in the cafe. The breakfast is 3 euro extra but was pretty good - half decent coffee too :) Andrew, from Australia ~ 11th Apr 2012

We stayed 5 days: location is pretty good, could be better the rooms are big, but the smell coming from the bathroom is disgusting :( Overall a nice hostel for the price with friendly and helpful staff. BTW breakfast for €3 is very good :) laurent, from France ~ 28th Nov 2011

The frigo was broken, it was not possible to put the food inside. I this hostel is possible to use the gas to cook just from 3PM to 10PM, so, if you want to prepare something to lunch before that time, forget it... and also, staff were not helpfull and not so nice. Pretty cool place, has a bar downstairs to relax and get a drink but not really party central. Taking a shower was a challenge as there was no temperature control and the water pressure was only a slight trickle. Jessica, from USA ~ 21st Oct 2011
