Hostel is in a nice area right next to a U-Bahn station. Also, walking to Museum Island is doable. A bit of a walk, but doable nonetheless. The rooms were clean and nice, and the staff was helpful. If you want a relatively quiet stay in a hostel that has families, young adults and school children, this is the place. I really enjoyed staying at Meininger in Prenzlauer Berg. I had a lovely room with a great view on the 7th floor. The staff was very helpful. The hostel has just the right size, not too big and not too small.A lot of choices at the breakfast in the morning. There were quite a few good restaurants in walking distance around the hostel and I was even able to catch some live music at a pub also in walking distance. Andrea, from Germany ~ 16th Apr 2012

The location is very good!! just steps of the U2 line, Senefelderplatz station. I think the guestskitchen could be a lot better,there are not enough tools for cooking, and the cleanliness is not as good as the rest of the place.
