MEININGER Hamburg City Center in Berliini, Saksa

I booked a room with four beds, at arrival we had to find out that there were just two normal beds and a bunk bed. At no point of the reservation, I was informed about that. As I wouldn't have booked that, this was a major negative point.

Hey Stefania, We are sorry that you were disappointed about the room. Please, just ask us before you book about the beds in the rooms if this is very important for you. It´s not a secret that in the rooms with more than 3 beds we have bunkbeds and you can also see the bunkbeds on many pictures in our album on the hostelworld website. Excelente el hostel... Realmente el mejor de Hamburgo en relación calidad precio... La única desventaja es q está medio lejos del centro, pero bueno se soluciona con el metro o la bicicleta pública de la ciudad... Pero definitivamente me volvería a quedar allí...

Gracias por tu rating y el comentario positivo :-) Es cierto que el hostal no está ubicado directamente en el centro, pero en Hamburgo el centro no es la unica zona donde hay muchos restaurantes, bares y tambien es muy cerca de la famosa Reeperbahn, la zona de fiesta, y el puerto. Cuando regresas , pregunta en la recepcion y te vamos a dar un mapa con todos los lugares interesantes que hay cerca del hostal :-) Saludos y hasta pronto, Meininger Staff

Clean and so big. Its location is rather far from city center and has quiet neighbors.

Good location, round the corner of Bahnhof Altona. Everything clean and nice, though the warm and familiar atmosphere is missing a bit because it's quite large. The parking situation on the streets around the hostel was quite relaxed. Summary: recommended!

Spent a night in 10 beds dormitory. The room was rather small. But everything was really clean. Got some problems with my locker but staff was helpful. Breakfast was above the average. The location is also good - only 5 minutes from Altona S-Bahn (about 15 min from Hbf). For such a low prise i would strongly recommend this hostel.
