Very nice and cosy place, I didnt feel there like in a hostel because I had a room just for myself. Very close to the mountain lifts and to the center. I really liked that place and hopefully will come some day in the future to conquer Mt. Blanc. Slavka, from Slovakia ~ 29th Sep 2012

in Chamonix hotel customers usually receive a free bus pass (carte d'hote) to travel in the town, this is not the case for this hostel, located at least 15 m from the central station. Reception is also very poor, you do not get any useful information and receptionist is unavailable except when you pay for your accomodation. Fantastic place! Lack of security didn't feel like an issue as the place felt so safe and the only issue with the staff was that there was only a short period of time that they were around. This wasn't a problem for us at all but should be considered. Sarah, from England ~ 5th Aug 2012
