It was an amazing location, only three stops on the train to be in HOLLYWOOD. The staff was excellent. People were not doing there dishes owner might have thought it was me because they started that after I arrived (it was not)but she had too much class to ask. They cleaned the home daily and tried to place you around people they know you will fit in with... ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! Andrea, from USA ~ 8th Apr 2012

I had to cancel my one night stay. One of the staff members told me I couldn\'t cancel and I hope he didn\'t charge me anyway.I showed up to cancel so they wouldn\'t make me a no show but he wouldn\'t let me cancel. I made a reservation over the internet and a two dollar deposit but I didn\'t cancel over the internet, I made a call and I\'m not sure if it went through or was on time for my deposit back but I did let them know when I showed up at the hostel.I love Hostels, I hope I ge Read Owner Comments Pecola, from USA ~ 29th Dec 2011

The security is really bad. The owner locks their door carefully , yet they don't provide any security system for the dorm. The ventilation of the house is poor and the cleanliness is acceptable. This hostel's location is good if you want to be in north hollywood. It's a little less than a 15 min walk to the closest train station. There is a bus 5 min walk away. There are alot of stores near the hostel: supermarket, laundry, subway. The set-up is quite weird in the upstairs apartment. There are beds in the living room and kitchen, along with an actual room (total of 10 beds) sharing one bathroom. I think there's a downstairs apartment too. When I was staying here, two of the losers who were staying there long term got into a huge fistfight in my room while i was trying to sleep, almost knocked me out of the top bunk, had to jump off the bed on to a table to get out of harms way. the owner came into the room, saw them fighting, but didnt do anything about it. the kids shouldve been kicked out it was ridiculous, they basically tore the room apart.
