Very pleased with this hostel! The directions were a little vague, but everyone knows where the "ostello" is--just ask the bus driver and he'll let you know when to get off, and then you walk up a hill and it's there. Only a few minutes from the Citta Alta by bus, and you can buy tickets at the hostel. Very clean and nice! The hostel does close from 1-7AM, which wasn't a problem (unless you're arriving quite late). Great choice.

It is not located "near" the city center as it says on the web side. And the only bus that goes from hostel to the "citta alta" or elsewhere operates only until 7.26 p.m. But besides it is very clean, high standard - especially for the mixed rooms (they are with bathroom!) and nice staff. I recomend!

We had a room at a special low (40 euros) price as they were supposed to be rebuilding some things in the hotel (we barely noticed anything). The room was new, super clean, with TV, air conditioning, safe, mini bar, ... Breakfast, all you can eat, was included. So for that price it's great! HIGHLY recommended. (Paying the normal price, 15 euros, for breakfast is a bit much considering things tasted only regular). If you come with the tramway, once you get off walk a bit in the same direction as

Really just a one night stop-over on our way to Verona and Lake Garda! Quite hard to find, ended up getting a taxi from Bergamo City Centre which was quite cheap! Everything was pretty minimal which was expected. Whilst checking out in the morning a lady was commenting on the fact she had $3000 dollars stolen from her bag during the night though, which was rather shocking.

A late night bus from Bergamo to the hostel would be good. It would be useful for the hostel to remind people in shared dorms to be considerate to the others sharing the same dorm. We were disturbed by late night and early morning indiscrimate 'zipping of zips' etc.
